OBAMA

GDP Plummets Worst Performance in Five Years

Its official the economy sucks and appears headed for another recession, the commerce department has just released the seasonally adjusted annual rate of only 0.1% for the first quarter of 2014. This nose dive is abysmal and indicates economic malfeasance from Washington is causing these depressed GDP numbers.

This means all the transfer to Washington of the 28 trillion in taxes and borrowing since 2009 is taking its toll destroying opportunity at every turn, and along with it, our livelihood’s. These massive transfers are causing everyone to keep whatever they managed to save in their pockets as we refuse to spend these funds. This is further depressing our economy causing the economic engine of world to grind to a halt–along with it our prosperity. We must take Washington back from these miscreants and tyrants that are destroying our nation, economy and prosperity, at all cost.

The U.S. economy slowed in the first quarter to one of the weakest paces of the five-year recovery as the frigid winter appeared to have curtailed business investment and weakness overseas hurt exports.

Gross domestic product, the broadest measure of goods and services produced across the economy, advanced at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 0.1% in the first quarter, the Commerce Department said Wednesday. Economists surveyed by The Wall Street Journal had forecast growth at a 1.1% pace for the quarter.

High taxes, Obamacare and economic uncertainty are coming home to roost.

Curiously, the severe winter weather did not have a similar economic effect on our neighbor to the north, Canada. Canada's GDP grew by 2.5 percent, exactly what was forecast. Several Canadian cities experienced their coldest and snowiest winters in decades.
