State Dept. Misled Reporters About Meeting with Muslim Brotherhood

The State Department admitted on Monday that it misled reporters about a recent delegation of Muslim Brotherhood leaders and allies who were hosted for a meeting with officials at Foggy Bottom.
We have active collusion, subterfuge and outright lies coming from our State Department from Jan Psaki, who has as she has claimed "misinformed the media" on the meeting between the Muslim Brotherhood and our State Department. She had originally claimed that the meeting was supported and financed by Georgetown University, when in fact it was paid for by Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy which is a front group for the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood and Wahhabi Islamic interests, a description follows from Islamic Pluralism.org:

Clearly Jan Psaki had to have known the truth of the matter and was obfuscating the meeting as she was downplaying the appearance of this as our government is actively collaborating with Islamofascist organizations, and in this case a terrorist organization the Muslim Brotherhood from a story on Breitbart:
State Department spokeswoman Jennifer Psaki claimed last week that the controversial delegation of key Brotherhood leaders and allies had been “organized and funded by Georgetown University.”
However, the university denied this is the case when reached by the Washington Free Beacon.
Psaki clarified her original comments made on Jan. 29 during a Monday meeting with reporters.
The meeting between the Brotherhood allies and the State Department sparked controversy in Washington and Cairo, where Egyptian government officials expressed anger at the Obama administration for hosting representatives of a group they consider to be terrorists.
The State Department meeting was attended by a deputy assistant secretary for democracy, human rights, and labor and other State Department officials.
While Psaki continued to defend the decision to host the Brotherhood allies at the State Department, she clarified that Georgetown actually had nothing to do with the delegation.
“Unfortunately, I didn’t have the accurate information on one small piece. The meeting was set up by the Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy, a nonprofit. So the visit was not funded, as you know, by us or the U.S. Government, but it was also not funded by Georgetown,” Psaki said.
Jan Psaki was obstinate when questioned about the meeting since of one member of the Muslim Brotherhood’s delegation, made provocative hand gestures signifying Jihad:

This is the result of this meeting with the Egyptian government condemning the meeting and calling the Muslim Brotherhood terrorists, yet our government still defends the action after the Brotherhood declared endless Jihad against the Egyptian government, a short two days after the meeting at foggy bottom:
“These statements are incomprehensible to me, we do not understand that there will be such a communication with the elements involved in terrorist acts to intimidate the Egyptians,” Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shukri was quoted as saying in the regional press.
“The Brotherhood is not a political party,” but “a terrorist organization,” Shukri said.

We suspected that there was more to this meeting than was being reported by the State Department, as our feckless tyrant was supporting the Muslim Brotherhood even as they were oppressing the Egyptian people and suspended their Constitutional guarantees by the Morsi government, which led to their overthrow. When asked on Tuesday evening to comment on the meeting, a State Department official told the Washington Free Beacon, “We meet with representatives from across the political spectrum in Egypt.”
Compare this by what we are finding out now, our government and the Obama regime appears to be actively fomenting Jihad with the Muslim Brotherhood, this is the same government that will not negotiate with Congress on any matter but will flout law and rule of law to meet and discuss matters with Islamic brigands and terrorists. Clearly we have a government that is off the rails and is only interested in taking this nation down a destructive path fraught with danger, intrigue and ruination.
